Essure consists of a small coil like object that is very small. Many women come and have surgery that have had multiple c-sections or abdominal surgery. The doctors will try to use the same scar if possible, but sometimes it is not. The TR surgery is far less invasive than a c-section, its a 2-4 in. incision and the average blood loss is about a tablespoon.
